It may store easily, but it does not energize me whatsoever.

I realize the sandwich I idealize is not exotic at all, but it is surprisingly hard to find in Seattle. At least, that has been my experience. Starbucks tried it out a while back and it was fantastic. I bought them quite often, but alas they stopped selling them because they made the place smell like eggs rather than coffee.

Why would having at least a moderately protein heavy breakfast be bad every day?

I dunno, I think the high carb breakfast is common because it's considered good brain food and stores easily, but I don't think getting variety in breakfast food is too difficult.

Your ideal breakfast is a pretty common breakfast sandwich, which isn't that exotic. I use to make them for breakfast before school all the time. And I know a lot of cafes that make delicious ones. Also, in places like New York where there are lots of people eating breakfast to go there are tons of breakfast sandwich carts all over the city.

Just for comparison, my breakfasts:
During the week its usually along the lines of: Cereal or Bagel or Breakfast Sandwich or Fruit & Yogurt. When I actually cook breakfast on the weekend and I'm working out: Eggs (scrambles, ommlettes, fried egg, burrito etc) and/or sausage or Cereal or Fruit & Yogurt.

But I'd say only 2-3 out of 7 days a week are protein heavy breakfasts. I don't think having protein heavy breakfast everyday would be very good for you.
